Located at No. 4, Dusi Street, Datong City, it was first built in 1889 and completed in 1891. In 1900, the Yihetuan burned down the church. It was rebuilt in 1906. The church is of ancient Greek architecture, in the shape of a cross, 24 meters long, 15 meters wide, and 8 meters high. Each of the two transepts is 8 meters long and 4 meters wide, with a total of 22 rooms, covering an area of 360 square meters. The front top is equipped with two bell towers, each 17 meters high, which are quite spectacular. A plaque hangs on the building between the two bell towers, inscribed with the words 'Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary' in running script. In front of the church, there are also statues of four saints. The exterior of the church is towering and majestic, solemn and solemn. The spectacular bell towers are unique and eye-catching. This is also the most representative landmark building within the ancient city walls.
