Following the footsteps of Kou Zhun of the Northern Song Dynasty, in my spare time, I lean on the railing and gaze into the distance. The waves are vast, the willows are swaying, the shore is broad and the masts are sparse, the waves are vast, and the long strip has a unique elegance. Sitting alone in the water pavilion with the wind blowing through my sleeves, the world's beautiful scenery is slightly cool. Kougong Tower is located on Kougong Street in the current county seat. It started in front of Quandingtan (behind Daoxian No. 2 Middle School today) and was built when Kou Zhun, the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, was demoted to Sima of Daozhou. The governor of the state, Chen Wei, rebuilt the pavilion and renamed it "Xiyu Pavilion" because his prayers for rain were answered. During the reconstruction in the tenth year of Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1805), the building was moved to the inner city wall and was still named Kougong Tower.
