E-bike around Erhai

Getting There - Train or bus from Kunming to Dali, around Dali there's no shortage of bike and e-bike rentals. Attractions -Dali old Town, Xizhou ancient town, Zhoucheng Bai village, three pagodas temple, Erhai Hotel - Wuhai minzhu hotel You can rent a long distance e bike for a very reasonable price in any shop around Dali. The best way to travel as you have the freedom to stop and go as you please around the lake. Once you arrive at the lake it's a straight shot around the ~160km lake. If you go around the whole length it will take the whole day--especially if you stop at the many scenic areas along the way and take photos of the beautiful sights along the way. A stop in Xizhou ancient town is a must, a little less touristy and more authentic feeling than the big dali ancient city. Just North of Xizhou is Zhoucheng village, home of many from the Bai Ethnic Minority. There you can wander through the old bai style houses and watch the ancient art of Bai Tie Dying. You can buy beautiful tapestries painstakingly seen tied and died by hand, an amazing process. Lake, fields, mountains and cliff side views provide endless opportunities for pictures.
