Dali Old Town is open 24 hours a day. If you want beautiful photos with fewer crowds, try visiting early in the morning. It's especially lively during the day, as restaurants and shops open around 10 a.m., especially along Renmin Road and Fuxing Road, the main thoroughfares. There's also Wuhua Tower, which offers a 360-degree view of Dali City. It's a landmark, and on a clear day, you can even see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
