A Secluded Villa by Erhai Lake

As the destination of my first-ever trip, Dali holds a special place in my heart as one of my most cherished travel spots. Over the past decade, I've returned to Dali countless times—not just for its azure skies and cotton-like clouds, but also for this body of water that isn't technically a sea, yet is poetically named "Erhai Lake." To truly experience the essence of Erhai Lake, one must visit Shuanglang. It's the only place where you can stay right by the water's edge and enjoy zero-distance contact with the lake. After my previous stay at Yunqi Pisea, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Though I initially wanted to book there again, it was fully occupied. That's when I discovered Yunqi has another property—a charming seaside villa with only four rooms, designed in a style reminiscent of the famous Moon Palace. Later, I learned both were crafted by the same designer. The three-story villa features a ground floor with a guest dining area and public lounge, plus a spacious seaside terrace perfect for quietly admiring the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. The second and third floors house generously sized guest rooms with complete amenities. For families or groups of friends, booking the entire villa is highly recommended—it offers excellent privacy for an undisturbed vacation experience.
