Wonderful views at hotel in Erhai, Dali

There are a large number of accommodation options in Erhai with the large number of tourists visiting this beautiful spot. This hotel 海域一号 is one I would definitely recommend after staying. It is located right along the lake and they have maintained a beautiful garden across the road which is also great for photos. The pathway is restricted to large vehicles so great for a stroll especially in the evenings or mornings without the crowd of tourists. The hotel is within walking distance of 廊桥,its worth a leisurely stroll in the morning along the lake for some uninterrupted sunrise views. The only inconvenience is that there are no restaurants close by however the hotel does take orders for dinner before a certain time. The dinner we had were simple dishes we chose, what I liked was the variety of items we had for breakfast with a bowl of noodles each as well as a mix of other small items. #summervacay

✨ Wandering Through Dali, Yunnan ☁️ ✨ Yunnan has always been on my travel wish list, and this time I finally made it to Dali — a dreamlike town surrounded by mountains and the sparkling Erhai Lake 🌊⛰️. Every corner here feels like it’s been kissed by the wind and painted by sunlight 🎨☀️. 🚙💨 Our first stop was the Jeep Flower Field 🌸🌼 — a sea of colorful blooms stretching endlessly, with classic Jeeps parked for that perfect “wanderlust” photo moment 📸✨. Standing among the flowers, I could feel the peace and freedom that only nature can give . Next, we visited the Santorini-style spot 💙🏛️ — pure white buildings with blue domes overlooking Erhai Lake. For a second, I almost forgot I was in China and felt like I was in Greece 🇬🇷💭. The breeze from the lake carried the scent of sunshine and freedom. Then came the Lovers’ Bridge 🌉💞 — a romantic spot said to bring good luck in love. Even the air here feels softer and sweeter 🕊️💕. Maybe wishes really do travel across the bridge to the sky ✨. Of course, no trip to Dali is complete without exploring the Ancient Town 🏮⛩️ — cobblestone streets, vintage teahouses, and local crafts everywhere. I sipped rose tea 🌹🍵, listened to street musicians 🎶, and watched time slow down. And finally, standing by Erhai Lake at sunset 🌅, watching the colors melt into the horizon, I felt completely at peace. The reflection of the mountains, the sound of waves, and the cool breeze reminded me — sometimes, happiness is just being here, now 💫💖. 🌈✨ Dali, you’ve captured my heart — I’ll be back again someday 💌 #Dali #Yunnan #TravelDiaries #ErhaiLake #Wanderlust #SlowLife #TravelMoments 🌸🌊💙

Erhai Lake Winter Escape: Blue Skies & Cherry Blossoms Await 🌸🏞️ Visit Dali’s Erhai Lake in winter and you’ll catch a stunning blend of crystal-clear blue sky, crisp air, and the delicate surprise of cherry blossoms along the shore! This season is perfect for a peaceful, photogenic escape. Recommended Route: Start your day cycling or e-biking the lakeside road (rentals are easy in Dali Ancient Town) and stop at must-see villages like Shuanglang for cozy cafés, or Xizhou for old Bai architecture. Set out early to enjoy the mirror-like morning reflections on Erhai and spot hidden cherry blossom lanes—especially near Caicun and Haidong villages. Practical Visiting Tips: Go midweek for fewer crowds and easier café reservations. Winter here is sunny but chilly (bring layers!). If you’re after cherry blossom shots, visit early January—local drivers know all the hidden blossom nooks. It’s easy to bike, but roads can be slippery after rain. Don’t forget a power bank for all those lakeside shots! #Dali #ErhaiLake #WinterTravel #CherryBlossom #ChinaNature
