Hat, sunglasses, and gloves are a must. Electric scooters are popular in Dali. If you don't want your hands to look like roasted pig trotters when riding, wear gloves obediently! (A lesson learned the hard way, folks!) ✅Skincare: Lotion + facial mask (Yunnan is super dry!) 🚌Transportation Guide ✨Entering Dali ①Don't panic after landing! The airport bus costs ¥25 and goes directly to the east gate of the ancient city. It departs when full and is much better than taking a taxi! ②Don't wander around after getting off the high-speed train! Look for the "Scenic Express" for ¥5 directly to the south gate of the ancient city. It's a blessing for introverts—just follow the crowd over the overpass on the right side of the exit! Buses 8 and 4 are also options, but they take a little longer. ✨Travel around the city ✔️Ancient City → Xizhou → Zhoucun: Take the minibus from the Cangshan Gate Bus Station in the ancient city for ¥10. There are many direct buses. ✔️Erhai Lake Loop: Search for "Dali Safe Travel" and book a 1-day or 3-day bus pass as needed!
