Lam Ty Ni Pagoda - Dalat, Vietnam

This small monastery is a mix of religious grounds with a lovely garden and art gallery run by a sort of Zen artist monk Vien Thuc. He is unlike the "normal" practice of Zen monks, Vien Thuc is very energetic, able to communicate with people in many languages, including French, English, Swedish, Chinese, Thai and of course Vietnamese. Some visitors find his work a little strange and unbecoming Zen, but others help and tell the world about him. Now many travel companies include this place in their tourist excursions in Dalat.
