Serene hotel with valley view

Zen Valley Hotel Possibly one of my favorite hotels in Dalat. It’s a bit out of the city center, overlooking the valley, so it’s serene and peaceful, but it’s also not too far. Maybe not walking distance, but if you have a bike, then just a 5-10 minute drive. The view when you wake up is beautiful. You can either choose to stay in a bungalow or the hotel room. The first time I was there, I stayed in a bungalow. It was nice being isolated from other people/rooms, but it felt a bit colder and didn’t have a bathtub. It was also a bit inconvenient, having to walk upstairs to get to the bed while bathroom is on the bottom floor. So the second time I stayed there, I opted for the hotel room. It was still very cozy and nice, fancy almost. However, rooms are not soundproof at all. If you’re unlucky and there are loud kids/people on the same floor, then it will affect the quality of your stay. Other than that, I was content. They also have an outdoor pool; however, Dalat is generally cooler in temperature, so as a person who gets cold easily, never got up the nerve to try swimming there. Breakfast isn’t fancy but sufficient. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. That being said, I will probably stay here again when I visit Dalat. #hotelstay #dalat #vietnam #travel
