Encounter Mountains, Encounter Seas - A Leisure Trip to Xiushan

Address: Daishan County, Zhoushan, Zhejiang, China. Xiushan Island, as the name suggests, is known for its beautiful landscapes. The island features many peculiar peaks and rocks with vivid shapes. Especially noteworthy is the Shurenyan Stone Forest, with its myriad forms. During storms, the surging waves crash against the rocks, creating a spectacular scene. In the Northern Song Dynasty, the great scholar Su Dongpo wrote the famous lines here: 'Lan Mountain sways, Xiushan dances, little white peach blossoms half bloom and half hide,' which speaks to the beauty of the scenery. It takes only 20 minutes by boat from Sanjiang Wharf to reach Xiushan Island. The island boasts a comfortable climate, beautiful scenery, beaches, cliffs, and fishing villages. The basic facilities are also quite good. Staying in a fisherman's house, sitting on the beach daydreaming, and having seafood for lunch is indeed very relaxing.
