Highest Lady Godness statue Linh Ung Temple Danang

Linh Ung temple is located in an area known locally as Bai But or Buddha’s Sanctuary on Son Tra Peninsula. It is very near to Danang city center which take about 15 mins to reach by taxi. But I suggest you to ask the taxi to wait for your and sent you back to city after your visit, as not easy to find taxi over there. The temple is considered the most magnificent work in the central city of Da Nang in terms of architectural and artistic value. One of the main attraction to see here is the 67 meters Lady Buddha, Goddess of Mercy or Quan Yin Statue watching over the local fishermen at sea and 35 meters in diameter lotus, which is rated as a highest Buddha Statue in Vietnam. If you want to learn more about Buddhism, you can go into the main building of this pagoda and discover many statues of different Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhats and a set of sculptural relief describing about the life of Shakyamuni. Next to the Lady Buddha Statue, there are steps down to a balcony where you can completely enjoy the stunning views and romantic sunset over Da Nang City. Going to this place at night, about 6-8pm you are able to watch the endless light stripe from Da Nang to Hoi An, illuminated statues and a number of fishing boats catching seafood.
