Cradle of Mexican Talent: National Autonomous University of Mexico

🎈The last stop on Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro is the University City station. An English-speaking student told us that the university campus is very large, with the main attractions concentrated around the administrative main building and the library. That place is called 'RETORIO', and you can take a free shuttle bus to get there. 🚍The campus transportation map shows that there are more than a dozen routes circulating throughout the campus. According to the map, taking route 1 or 5 will take you directly there. With the help of this student, we took the shuttle bus and got off at 'RETORIO'. Opposite the station is the university sports field. 🌇The National Autonomous University of Mexico is also known as the 'City of Murals'. Next to the main building, we saw the World Heritage sign and description. The World Heritage evaluation states: The ultimate goal of modern architecture and urban planning principles is to improve the quality of life for residents. Globally, there are very few architectural projects that fully implement these principles, and the University City of the National Autonomous University of Mexico is one of them. 🌈The colorful wall of the library ahead brings a huge impact of Mexican Indian style. The entire wall is a huge colorful painting, magnificent and dazzling. There are also colorful paintings in front of the main building, and different murals can be found around various departments and throughout the campus. A teaching building hall is exhibiting student graduation design models. On the way back, we took the shuttle bus at the main building station and went directly to the metro station. Along the way, we saw signs in Spanish, some of which had spellings similar to English, such as the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Communication, etc. 💯The National Autonomous University of Mexico (Spanish: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) is a public university located in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico.
