My Kind of "Init" is Maquinit

Maquinit Hot Springs is one of the only few salt water in the world. Located in Sitio Maquinit, the hot spring is 30 minute ride along a rough and curvy path from Coron town proper via a tricycle. This is definitely a destination off the beaten track, which will make you appreciate the place the more. The Maquinit Hot Springs offer two saltwater pool, both with walls and floor covered in pebbles. The pools offer natural hot water ranging from 37 to 40 degrees Celsius so you can choose one for your liking. It is believed that the water is heated by a volcano which streams down into the two pools. A bit of caution though: the spring can be a bit hot at first dip so I suggest to try it first until you get comfortable and eventually the experience surely becomes relaxing and therapeutic. #fallingforfall
