Cologne Cathedral, Germany's largest tourist attraction

Cologne Cathedral, which I visited during my business trip from Frankfurt-Düsseldorf-Cologne. It is said to be the most visited place by tourists in Germany. It is easy to get to by train from Düsseldorf or Frankfurt. It is right next to Cologne Central Station, so you can get there in less than 3 minutes after getting off the train, making it very accessible. Cologne Cathedral is considered a masterpiece of German Gothic cathedrals. The spire is impressive, boasting a very tall and piercing majesty. It has a long history and is a great tourist attraction, so it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cologne Cathedral is gorgeous both inside and out, like Milan Cathedral in Italy. Also, the stained glass, which is a must-see in Gothic cathedrals, is very gorgeous and of a high standard. Admission is free, but the places where you can see for free are somewhat limited. Admission to the museum is paid, and when mass time comes, everyone except those attending mass must leave. Mass times are posted everywhere, so it is recommended to check these times and tour. Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany, following Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich. In addition to the Cologne Cathedral, it is a place with various food and tourist attractions. Representative tourist attractions include the Raf-Richartz Museum, the Schnüttgen Museum of the Middle Ages, the Ludwig Museum of Modern Art, and the Käthe Kollwitz Museum, as well as large shopping streets such as Schildergasse and Neumarkt.
