One of the tourism attraction in Bandung us Tangkuban perahu….Tangkuban Perahu is a stratovolcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung, the provincial capital of West Java, Indonesia. It erupted in 1826, 1829, 1842, 1846, 1896, 1910, 1926, 1929, 1952, 1957, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1983, 2013 and 2019. . Actually tangkuban perahu is a legend about sangkuriang who fell in love with his mom, Dayang sumbi… as he failed fulfilling the mother’s requirements…Led by his anger, sangkuriang kicked the unfinished boat which become mt tangkuban perahu . The ticket for local tourist is 20K IDR and 30K Idr during weekend….for the foreigners, the ticket cost 200K . Enjoy the trip,everyone#bandungtrip #tangkuban perahu

It's beautiful place and listen to the legend shared by the locals. They will guide you throughout your journey at Tangkuban Perahu, and don't forget to tip them! A must go if you come visit Bandung. We took out our drone to play it but was stop by the ranger and wanted to charge us SGD$100. Tip: Sneak and use your drone somewhere deeper in the forest area to get a quick shot of the place! Risky, but worth it. Visit the cave nearby too. 30mins hike. It's pretty spooky, though. Absolutely thrilling experience to be at the very edge of an active crater. Lots of sellers to sell you junk, best to avoid. But well worth it in my opinion. Not the sort of thing one can do often.
