Temple Vibes & Trail Time

#summervacay Took a spontaneous trip out to Cheontaesan and ended up at Sinansa Temple, and wow, peaceful doesn’t even begin to cover it. The temple is nestled right up against the mountain, surrounded by tall trees and the sound of birds doing their thing. There’s this old, calm energy to the place, like it’s been watching over the valley forever. Super grounding. The hike up wasn’t too crazy, just enough to get your legs moving and make arriving at the temple feel rewarding. The trail itself is super scenic, lots of shade, trickling streams, and random stone lanterns peeking out from the woods. At the temple, I chilled for a bit, soaked in the quiet, and just breathed. No rush, no crowds, just stillness. Bonus points for the mountain views in the background—it’s a total postcard moment. If you’re ever looking for a quiet nature escape with a spiritual twist, Sinansa’s your spot. Peaceful, pretty, and low-key perfect.
