Wandering Through Okcheon-gun

#summervacay So I randomly ended up in Okcheon-gun the other day, and honestly? It was such a vibe. No big plan, just me strolling around, taking it all in. The town’s super peaceful, like, it has this laid-back energy that just makes you slow down without even trying. I wandered through some tiny streets with cozy little cafes and friendly locals who actually smile back (a rare find these days!). Found this random trail that led to a temple tucked in the hills, total hidden gem moment. It wasn’t packed or touristy at all, which made it even better. Stopped by a local market and grabbed some ridiculously good tteokbokki. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Everything felt super authentic, and not in that “Instagrammable” way, just real and simple. If you ever want a break from the chaos and just want to roam with no agenda, Okcheon-gun’s got your back.
