Head in the Clouds

#summervacay So I finally made it to Sobaeksan, and wow, totally worth the trip. The hike wasn’t too intense (thankfully), and the views? Absolute chef’s kiss. Clouds were doing their dramatic floaty thing, and I felt like I was walking through a fantasy movie set. The trail had a good mix of peaceful forest vibes and open ridges with those big “I need to take a photo every two seconds” panoramas. Bonus: I didn’t get eaten alive by bugs. Major win. Ran into a few fellow hikers who were super friendly, shared some snacks, had a quick chat, then parted ways like trail ninjas. Loved that. Also, pro tip: bring snacks and water. Like, a lot. You’ll thank yourself when you hit those steeper bits. All in all, 10/10 would hike again. Sobaeksan might not be the most famous peak in Korea, but it’s got serious chill-and-feel-awesome energy. Would recommend to anyone who needs a nature reset.
