Cheongju National Museum

#summervacay Honestly? We popped into the Cheongju National Museum just to escape the heat, but it turned out to be way cooler than expected (literally and figuratively). The building itself is super clean and modern, with blessed air conditioning and chill vibes all around. Inside, it’s a mix of old-school artifacts, pottery, and local history that’s actually kinda interesting even if you’re not a museum person. There’s English here and there, enough to get the gist without needing a guide. Plus, the layout’s easy to follow, and there’s lots of space so you’re not bumping into people every two steps. The highlight? A few really beautiful pieces that made us stop and go, “Oh dang, that’s cool.” Also, the outdoor area is peaceful and great for a breather. Not a massive museum, but perfect for a slow afternoon. Free entry too, which is always a win. Would recommend for an easy, culture-lite detour.
