In March, Qiandao Lake enjoys pleasant spring weather with just the right temperature. The gentle breeze caresses your face, bringing a touch of coolness and fresh moisture. The lake water is crystal clear and azure, reflecting the green mountains and trees, like a slowly unfolding ink painting, so beautiful it leaves you speechless. 🚗【Transportation Guide】 ✈️Airplane: You can fly to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, a bustling airport with numerous routes. From the airport, take a direct bus to the Qiandao Lake Passenger Transport Center, which takes about 2.5 hrs. Along the way, you can enjoy the prosperity of Hangzhou and the idyllic scenery of the countryside🚌. 🚄High-speed Rail: After arriving at Hangzhou East Railway Station, take a dedicated bus to Qiandao Lake. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 2 hrs, allowing you to admire the scenery of the Jiangnan water towns along the way🚇. 🚌Local Bus: The buses in Chun'an County cover some scenic spots in Qiandao Lake. You can easily board by scanning the QR code with Alipay or WeChat. If you want to visit core attractions like the Central Lake Area and Southeast Lake Area, taking a tourist bus or a taxi is convenient and hassle-free. 🚗Self-driving: Driving to Qiandao Lake is incredibly enjoyable! Drive along the Qiandao Lake Ring Road, surrounded by picturesque scenery, and stop at any time to take beautiful photos. The parking lots in the scenic area have ample parking spaces and reasonable fees🅿️. 🗺【Three-Day Itinerary】 Day 1: Central Lake Area - Qiandao Lake Beer Town Morning: Head straight to the Central Lake Area and take a boat tour to Meifeng Island, Yule Island, and Longshan Island. Ascend Meifeng Island to overlook the magnificent panorama of "thousands of islands competing for beauty, blue water presenting wonders." The view truly amazed me😍. Noon: Try the fish head at Yule Island. The fish is tender, the soup milky white, and it melts in your mouth. It's incredibly delicious👍. Afternoon: Visit Qiandao Lake Beer Town, with its European-style buildings. Stroll through the unique shops, have a glass of freshly brewed beer, and enjoy the pleasant buzz. Day 2: Southeast Lake Area - Wenyan Lion City Morning: Go to the Southeast Lake Area and visit Huangshan Peak. From the top, you'll see the unique "Tianxia Weigong" (meaning "the world is for all") landscape, where numerous islands form the shape of the Chinese character "gong" (meaning "public"). Other islands like Mishan Island and Tianchi Island each have their own charm. Noon: Have a bowl of rice porridge, a local specialty. It's soft and glutinous, mixed with various vegetables and diced meat, savory and delicious. One bowl is incredibly satisfying😋. Afternoon: Head to Wenyan Lion City, a replica of a thousand-year-old underwater ancient city. It's full of ancient charm. Stroll along the bluestone roads, feel the weight of history, and experience various traditional crafts. Day 3: Qiandao Lake Forest Oxygen Bar - Return Trip Morning: Enter the Qiandao Lake Forest Oxygen Bar and breathe in the air rich in negative oxygen ions, as if you're in a natural oxygen bar. Walk through the forest, listen to the birds sing, and watch the sunlight filter through the leaves. It's incredibly relaxing. Noon: Enjoy a farm-style meal and order a plate of dried bamboo shoots with braised pork. The bamboo shoots are tender, the pork fatty but not greasy, and it absorbs the fragrance of the bamboo shoots, enhancing the flavor🥘. Every shot is a masterpiece. 📍Huangshan Peak Viewing Platform: Overlook the "Tianxia Weigong" spectacle and capture this magical natural scene. 📍Ancient City Gate of Wenyan Lion City: Take photos at the old city gate and mottled city walls to showcase the ancient charm. 💖【Travel Reflections】 I absolutely loved this March trip to Qiandao Lake! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, immersed in the beautiful scenery, every view captivated me. The people of Qiandao Lake are kind, simple, and hospitable, making the journey even more heartwarming.
