Khao Matree Viewpoint, a highlight of Chumphon Province

Khao Matree Viewpoint is located on the Chumphon - Pak Nam - Hat Sai route. This is another interesting tourist attraction and viewpoint in Chumphon. You can see a 360-degree view of the Pak Nam Chumphon community and the beach of Chumphon, especially in the evening when the sun is very beautiful. At the viewpoint, there is a coffee shop with a viewing terrace to enjoy the view. There are restrooms and a parking lot at the viewpoint, which can accommodate a limited number of cars. At the top of the Khao Matree viewpoint, there is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in the Maharajalila posture, similar to the sitting posture of Jatukam Ramathep, looking out to the Chumphon sea. On the right is Hat Phrathat. Looking from the hill, you can see the Pak Nam Chumphon community and Pak Nam Chumphon beach, which is a large community because it is a fishing pier.
