5 Days in Christchurch

📍 Itinerary Overview ✈️ My Christchurch #travel Trip with Trip.com 🇳🇿 I booked my flight tickets from Australia to New Zealand with Trip.com – great prices and super easy booking! 🙌 After landing at Christchurch Airport, I picked up my rental car from YES Car Rental (also booked through Trip.com 🚗). Everything was smooth and convenient. 🌊 Day 1–2: Lake Tekapo I stayed two nights at Skyrim Lodge – an amazing place with stunning views! From there, I visited Tasman Glacier and Mount Cook – breathtaking scenery everywhere. In the evenings, I enjoyed magical stargazing at Lake Tekapo ✨. 🌸 Day 3: Timaru & Akaroa On the way, I stopped at the Timaru Botanic Gardens, then explored the Ashburton area and the Rakaia Gorge Lookout before returning to Christchurch. That night, I stayed at Akaroa Village Inn – such a charming place! The Wright Lookout was perfect for sunrise and sunset 🌄🌅. The drive along Long Bay Road back to Christchurch was also beautiful. 🏙️ Day 4: Christchurch City I stayed at 311 Motel Riccarton – very nice and comfortable. I explored Christchurch City, enjoyed the Christchurch Gondola 🚠, visited the Botanic Gardens, and had fun at the International Antarctic Centre. 💺 To end my trip, thanks to Trip.com, I enjoyed free access to the Manaia Lounge at Christchurch International Airport – the best way to relax before my flight. 🙏 Big thanks to Trip.com for making my trip so smooth, affordable, and unforgettable.
