It is reported that the white-headed langur is one of the world's 25 most endangered primate species. By 2022, there are only just over 1,300 individuals globally, making them rarer than giant pandas. The vast majority are in the Chongzuo White-headed Langur Conservation Area in Guangxi. We came twice before we saw them. 🔔: ‼️ Before coming, you can call the scenic area to ask when you can see them, then buy tickets online. After arriving, the staff basically wait until the white-headed langurs come out before letting us in, and there are roughly two time periods each day when the chances of seeing them are high. Morning 9-10 am Afternoon 4-5 pm 📷 At first, they appear on the cliffs. We had to zoom in our phone cameras to the maximum to barely see them. At this time, it means you are lucky. Then just wait for them to come down the mountain, they will climb up the trees to eat leaves. Don't disturb them, and you can watch their every move up close. 🌈 Travel tips: ✅ Buying tickets on-site is 80, but 70 if you buy online in advance. ✅ There is a sightseeing car in the scenic area, but actually, you can walk, it's less than 10 minutes to the observation point. ✅ The staff will tell you in advance where to watch. ✅ You can bring binoculars. ✅ Drones are not allowed to fly, as they might disturb the white-headed langurs. ✅ There are few people in the scenic area, recommended for friends who like nature and animals～
