Hongyadong, that moment when your breath stops🏮

📍Hongyadong, Chongqing, China (洪崖洞民俗风貌区) There are two popular vantage points for viewing Hongyadong: • From the bridge above, to see its full scope • From the embankment, to get up close to the spirit city For me, the view from above was much more impressive. 😍 You get a sense of unreality. When I first approached the edge of the bridge, I couldn't breathe for a minute. My eyes refused to believe that such a place even existed and that I was seeing it in person. 😳 I didn't want to take photos or videos; I just wanted to stand and soak in the view! But then, of course, the entrance and tripod and camera went in. The view from below, while also beautiful, is somewhat diluted by the sheer number of people and photographers, each eager to offer their services. 🪄 P.S.
