I. Price and Value I stayed in the Executive Suite, and the price was reasonable compared to other five-star hotels in Chongqing, making it a great value. The Superior Deluxe King Room is CNY 510 per night, and I was upgraded to a high-floor room on the 27th floor with a river view, which was also a great value. Although breakfast was not included, the overall price was competitive compared to similar hotels. II. Comfortable Stay Experience 🧹 Soundproofing and Cleanliness The soundproofing was excellent, providing a quiet environment for guests to rest. The cleanliness was generally good, the room was cleaned well, and the bathroom floor was slip-resistant, making it safe to use. 🏘️ Room Type and Layout The Executive Suite has a total area of 65m², with a spacious 7-shaped corner room design, mainly divided into three areas: the lobby, bedroom, and bathroom. The Superior Deluxe King Room has an area of nearly 40 square meters, with a spacious 2.2x2m king-size bed, as well as a shoe-changing stool and a full-length mirror. The layout is reasonable and can meet daily living needs. However, the closet in the bedroom of the Executive Suite is small, which is a bit inconvenient when storing clothes. 🛌 Supplies and Facilities Although the hotel is a bit old, the decoration is good and well-maintained. The bathtub in the Executive Suite is huge, which is very friendly for tall people and can accommodate two people. The night view outside the window is charming. The room is equipped with a rich welcome fruit platter. The minibar is relatively ordinary. Although the front desk initially stated that the drinks in the refrigerator were free, the sparkling water actually required an extra charge. Fortunately, it was waived in the end due to communication issues. The Superior Deluxe King Room is equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a great view of the river. There is a chair with a backrest and a table by the wall. The air conditioner can adjust the room temperature. The small bar has two bottles of water and snacks for a fee. The classic bathroom layout includes a bathtub, overhead shower, hair conditioner, bathrobe, etc. The hair dryer is under the sink, the towels are under the sink, the toiletries feel good on the skin, and the slippers are thick enough. However, there are some minor problems, such as the lack of outlets by the bed in the Superior Deluxe King Room, the outlets behind the bedside table are difficult to plug in, there is no smart home system, the overhead lights are dazzling and there are no sensor lights, and the carpet color is not very attractive. The pool is 1.75m at its deepest, which is suitable for people who like deep water areas. The changing room also has a small hot spring, which is very comfortable for soaking in winter, but the sauna was out of order and no staff could be found to help turn it on. III. Rich Dining Experience The lounge offers afternoon tea and dinner. The fruit for afternoon tea is fresh and delicious, especially the dragon fruit, which is very sweet, but the cake tastes poor. Although the dinner food is ordinary, the taste is acceptable. The breakfast is mediocre, but the honeycomb is a highlight and can meet the tastes of different people. IV. Thoughtful Service The service is a major highlight. The guest room department originally did not have roses, but after learning of the request, they specially purchased nearly 10 bunches of red roses for the bath. The bathtub was cleaned and filled with water at a suitable temperature. Free shoe-shining service was also provided, which was very thoughtful. V. Convenient Location There are many restaurants around the hotel, and it is 300m from the subway station, making it convenient to travel. However, the road after getting off the subway at night is dimly lit. However, there is a lack of tourist attractions around the hotel, and it is a long walk to Chongqing's popular attractions, so you basically need to take a taxi or subway. VI. 💗 Other Tips 1. Confirm the minibar charges with the hotel before check in to avoid unnecessary trouble. 2. If you have special requirements for pillows, you can call the hotel in advance to inquire and prepare accordingly. 3. When going to the pool for swimming, you can first check the usage of the sauna and other facilities to avoid running in vain.
