Longshuixia Fissure is a crucial part of the Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage site. Formed by orogenic movement tens of millions of years ago, this typical karst landform features a 5 km-long canyon, of which about 2 km is open to visitors. The valley is 200–500 m deep and incredibly vast. You'll be amazed by its majestic scale as soon as you enter! 🌳The scenery here is unparalleled. The canyon is deep and the cliffs on both sides seem to pierce the sky. The area is full of lush, primitive vegetation, waterfalls and springs are everywhere, and the sound of clear streams accompanies you all the way. There are also rapids and deep pools where the water is so clear that you can see the stones and small fish swimming at the bottom. The Milky Way Waterfall, Nine Beaches and Eighteen Pools, and Jiaolong Cold Cave are all iconic scenic spots. The perfect blend of high mountains, ridges, canyons, and flowing water creates stunning landscapes everywhere you look. 🎫Ticket information: For just CNY 105, you get a shuttle bus ticket from the Tourist Service Center to the scenic area entrance, a down elevator ticket, and a return shuttle bus ticket from the scenic area exit back to the Tourist Service Center. It's a great deal! 🕙Opening hours: 9:00am–4:30pm. 🚗Directions: - By car: Navigate directly to the Wulong Tourist Service Center. Parking is CNY 10 per visit, which is very convenient. - Public transport: You can take the direct tourist bus from Jiefangbei, Chongqing, to the Wulong Tourist Service Center. The journey takes 3.5 hrs and costs CNY 70. There are two buses in the morning, departing at 7:30am and 7:40am, and the return times in the evening are 4:30pm and 5:00pm. 📌Tips: - There are many downward steps and fewer upward steps throughout the scenic area, so it's not too physically demanding. However, the ground is often slippery, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes. - There is a flight of steps inside a cave at the entrance to the scenic area. It's a bit dark, but just walk through it. You'll be able to see the sky once you're in the valley. - There are sections of the trail that pass under waterfalls, so it's recommended to bring a raincoat. Umbrellas or hats may not be as convenient.
