Sheraton Chongqing: Unique Experience and Diverse Feelings After seeing this famous landmark building in Chongqing from the Marriott, I have been looking forward to checking in here. I finally fulfilled my dream on this trip to Chongqing. 1. Facilities The whole building of the hotel is in dazzling gold, and the interior is also golden. The lobby chandeliers and sculptures are all golden, and the yellow wallpaper in the room is matched with golden decorations, even the phone is golden. Although I personally don't appreciate this style, the overall atmosphere of the room is very warm and comfortable. The front desk thoughtfully upgraded the room to an executive suite, which is very spacious and has a separate guest bathroom. The table in the living room is huge, which is very suitable for a few friends to gather here to play board games. The room is fully equipped, allowing people to enjoy the pleasant experience of watching TV while taking a bath. However, as time goes by, the facilities have obvious traces and are slightly old, and some wallpaper on the walls is also damaged and has not been repaired. In addition, the hotel only has a small platform on the 8th floor for viewing, and even the executive lounge is not located on the riverside. Therefore, if you do not stay in a river view room, it is difficult to enjoy the excellent scenery. Compared with the viewing platform on the top floor of the Marriott next door, it is indeed slightly inferior. 2. Service The service of the hotel is excellent, and all the staff must have received very professional and proper training and management. They are enthusiastic, responsive, responsive, and able to maintain a certain sense of distance just right, and will never make guests feel embarrassed. 3. Location The hotel is located in Nan'an District, and its advantage is that it is close to the inner ring expressway, and the surrounding traffic is smooth and will not be congested. Especially compared with the Hilton in Yuzhong, this advantage is more obvious. However, its disadvantage is that it is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River. Although there is a river view, it is not outstanding. You need to take a taxi to the scenic spots, and there is no subway line around. 4. Dining Dining may be a weak link in the hotel. Whether it is dinner in the lounge or breakfast in the restaurant, there are no highlights. There are few dishes to choose from, and even the bacon for breakfast is synthetic. The traces of cost reduction are more obvious in the restaurant, which forms a great contrast with the overall grade of the hotel. Overall, given the landmark nature of the hotel building itself, it is indeed worth experiencing, but it is undeniable that it is not the most ideal accommodation choice.
