Jindaoxia is a national 4A-level tourist attraction located in the northeast of Beibei District, Chongqing, on the southwest slope of Huaying Mountain. Scenic Features - Magnificent Canyon: The canyon is about 6.2 km long and is divided into two sections. The upper canyon is formed by karst geological action, with strong surface cutting, unique gullies, steep stone walls on both sides, and ancient vines hanging upside down. The lower canyon is eroded by water, with connected caves and pools, and stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes. - Majestic Waterfall: The hanging waterfall is a landmark landscape, about 150 meters high and 2 meters wide, falling from the sky along the mountain, with a magnificent momentum. - Rich Vegetation: The original forest vegetation on both sides of the canyon is lush, with different scenery in four seasons. In spring, flowers are in full bloom; in summer, bamboo is shady; in autumn, red leaves cover the mountains; in winter, the mountains are covered with snow. Tickets and Opening Hours - Tickets: CNY 80 for adults. - Half-price tickets are available for children between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive) in height; primary, secondary, and college students with a valid student ID; seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 64 (inclusive) with a valid ID card or relevant certificate. - Free tickets are available for seniors aged 65 (inclusive) and above; children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height. - Opening hours: 08:00–16:30.
