Bing'an Ancient Town

Bing'an Ancient Town is a small town on a cliff by the Chishui River. It runs from east to west, with mountains to the south and the Chishui River to the north. There are two town gates, the Donghua Gate to the east and the Taiping Gate to the west. An ancient salt road on the east bank of the Chishui River passes through the Shuanglong Bridge over the Bing'an River and leads to the Donghua Gate of Bing'an Ancient Town. After entering the Donghua Gate, you can walk up the steps and follow the winding old street to the Taiping Gate of the ancient town, which is only a few hundred meters away. In the town, there are the Geng Biao Memorial Hall and the Red Army First Corps Exhibition Hall. Outside the town, the Long March Iron Chain Bridge has been built where the Red Army crossed the Chishui River for the fourth time, and the Red Army First Corps Long March Monument stands on the north bank of the Chishui River. The residents of the town seem to live a leisurely life. Perhaps many families have moved to the new village on the other side of the river. The clear water of the Chishui River flows by your feet, and the wooden houses and salt roads have been around for a thousand years. The chain bridge bears witness to the road we have traveled, and the cultural village of Bing'an is worth a visit.
