The third largest city in the United States - Chicago is located in the Midwest of the United States, bordering Lake Michigan to the east. It is an international metropolis second only to New York City and Los Angeles in the United States. Chicago is also the second city in the United States with the most skyscrapers, with more than 1,200 skyscrapers over 100 meters tall. Michigan Avenue in the city center is very long, passing through several parks with beautiful scenery. Along the way, there are many landmark buildings and important attractions with social, economic, and cultural value nearby. The famous metal bean (CLOUD GATE) is known as the Cloud Gate. Its huge elliptical shape and smooth surface reflect the surrounding high-rise buildings. The main body of this sculpture is 33 feet high, 66 feet long, 42 feet wide, and weighs about 110 tons. From a distance, the Cloud Gate looks like a bean or a drop of mercury. It is made of polished stainless steel without any decorative patterns. Willis Tower, completed in 1974, has 110 floors and was the tallest building in the United States at that time. Chicago Board of Trade (CHICAGO BOARD OF TRADE) was established in 1885. There are two goddess sculptures at the entrance, symbolizing agriculture and industry respectively. Next to it is the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF CHICAGO), both of which can be visited. Art Institute of Chicago (ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO) Not far away is a flamenco sculpture, composed of bright red metal forming elegant curves, resembling an iron anchor, feeling refined and cultured in the square in front of the angular skyscraper made of steel and glass.
