Phra That Chom Mok Kaeo, one of the nine revered stupas in Chiang Rai

🛕Phra That Chom Mok Kaeo is located at Wat Chom Mok Kaeo, one of the nine revered stupas in Chiang Rai province. It is believed that worshipping all nine stupas in one day brings great fortune, similar to visiting seven temples in one day. ⛰The creator and the exact year of construction of Phra That Chom Mok Kaeo are unknown. However, there is a story that about 100 years ago, locals discovered a termite mound resembling a stupa on a small hill. 🍀In the surrounding area, there were many soapberry trees bending like a Naga serpent, and broken pottery scattered around.
