🛕 “Wat Ming Muang” is a temple with beautiful architecture. It is considered a temple that has been with Chiang Rai for more than 800 years. In the past, there was a Shan community living there, so it was called “Wat Ngio” or “Wat Chang Moob”. Chiang Rai people called it “Wat Chang Moob” or some people called it “Wat Talam Mae Si” after the name of the creator. 🛕 ⛪️ “Phra Wihan Mai Lai Kham” is a blend of Shan and Lanna art. The ceiling is in Traibhumi and Pali styles with 34 swans in total. It is considered the only wooden temple in Chiang Rai Province that is still left to be seen today. Inside the temple is the principal Buddha image, which is more than 400 years old, named ✨ “Luang Pho Phra Si Ming Muang” ✨.
