Ontai Traditional Culture Workshop, Chiang Mai

This time I went to a craft center in a village called Ontai in the east of Chiang Mai. The local tour guide said Ontai is the starting point of Chiang Mai. There is a dyeing workshop in the factory, which uses natural materials to make four colors (yellow, red, green and orange). Each dyeing process takes fifteen minutes. It needs to be rinsed before soaking. The instructors and staff in the workshop were very hospitable and helped everyone with the dyeing process.
