Wat Muen Tum is located on Phra Pok Klao Road, Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District. It is another temple in the old city of Chiang Mai with a long history. Although it is now just a small temple that few people know about, in the past, this temple was very important as one of the places where the Buddha image was poured into water for the King of Chiang Mai during the Mangrai Dynasty. Every king of Chiang Mai had to wear white at Wat Pha Khao, which is nearby, for 3 days.
