A photo spot in the middle of a lotus pond at "Saphan To Wa", Wat Chet Lin, Changwat

Wat Chet Lin, or as the locals call it, Wat Nong Charin, is believed to have been built before the year 2060. The word Lin is a northern dialect meaning a gutter, and the word “Chet Lin” means seven gutterings. Toh Wa Bridge, pronounced Toh-Wa, comes from the Karen language and means bamboo bridge. It was named by the abbot of Wat Chet Lin to match the Tai Wa coffee shop located in the same area. The word Tai Wa comes from Pali and Sanskrit, meaning Thai heaven. This bamboo bridge is like it was built in heaven, created by the combined efforts of monks, novices, and the faith of the locals. It stretches over the marsh behind Wat Chet Rin, surrounded by large lotus or Victoria water lilies, which bloom white in the morning and purple in the afternoon. The bridge railings are decorated with red umbrellas and colorful lanterns, making it a very beautiful photo spot.
