📍Wat Phalat @Chiang Mai

#VisitChiangMai Wat Phalat, also known as Wat Soktakami, is also known as the secret temple in the middle of the forest. This temple boasts both historical beauty, Burmese art adorned with nature, and an extremely peaceful atmosphere. It is another must-see check-in spot when visiting Chiang Mai. If you plan to go to Phra That Doi Suthep, we recommend stopping by this temple first as it is just on the way up. However, the beauty and nature surrounding this temple is definitely not just a pass-through temple. Personally, I like the unique statues scattered throughout the temple grounds. Aside from the beautiful architecture, there is also a small stream and waterfall running through the temple grounds, with a viewpoint offering views of Chiang Mai below. The reflection of the sky on the water and the view of Chiang Mai is a must-see. #WatPhalat #VisitChiangMai #Thailand

This trip to Chiang Mai was so much fun. We spent 4 days and 3 nights on this trip (I'll start by saying that I'm an introvert, so I chose the days and times I thought there would be fewer tourists, lol). 1. Start the trip by visiting Baan Kang Wat, a popular spot on TT. I recommend going around 10:00 AM when there aren't many people around, making it easier to take photos and avoiding people in the crowds. 2. Mae Ya Waterfall: We went during a storm and it was raining, but luckily, it wasn't raining too hard that day. Although the water wasn't as clear as it looked online, it was incredibly beautiful in person. 3. Huay Kaew Waterfall: There was no entrance fee when we went. We just walked a short distance and saw the waterfall. There were a lot of people sleeping by the stream, and the atmosphere was amazing. 4. Wat Pha Lat: It's so beautiful! The temple grounds are shady and peaceful. P.S. Honestly, I just wanted a change of scenery, lol. But since we were going all the way, I thought I'd give it a try. We found all 4 of these places on the spot, without any pre-planned plans. But I think it's nice not to have to plan anything. There's no pressure about where to go today. #ChiangMaiTravel #Natural attractions #House next to the temple #Mae Ya Waterfall #Huai Kaew Waterfall #Phalad Temple

A temple overlooked... Wat Phalat is located on the way up to Doi Suthep. The front of the temple looks unassuming. But once you step inside, it's a paradise. The atmosphere is peaceful. The waterfall, the preserved buildings, and the ancient pagoda with its small vegetation covering the pagoda look classic and beautiful. It's definitely worth a visit.
