Library of the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University

The library of the Faculty of Medicine at Chiang Mai University is located on the upper floor of the Integrated Learning Building. It is one of the favorite spots for medical students and students from other faculties who come to read, work on reports, or prepare for exams. With its open and airy design, complemented by natural light streaming through large glass windows, the library offers a bright and relaxing atmosphere. There are various seating options, including individual and group spaces, with power outlets available at almost every spot, making it convenient for laptop use. A highlight for many visitors is the view from the upper floor, which overlooks the area beneath the building adorned with trees, flowers, and a large elephant statue—a distinctive symbol of the Faculty of Medicine and Chiang Mai University. The sight of the elephants amidst the greenery and flower gardens provides a refreshing and soothing break for the eyes during study sessions. Although the library is not very large, it is warm, quiet, and well-organized, making it an ideal place for focused study. The staff are polite and helpful, and the library is well-equipped with academic resources.
