Chiang Mai Solo.

My first solo trip to Chiang Mai, I took a train from home (Prachantakham Station - Hua Lamphong) and then transferred from Bangkok Station to Chiang Mai. I booked a CNR second-class sleeper, very comfortable and so cold that I was freezing. When I arrived in Chiang Mai, it was just morning, so I took a songthaew to eat at a famous Patongko shop (the taste wasn't that amazing, just cute and lovely). Then I took another songthaew to take photos with the Tha Phae Gate, Chiang Mai's signature. After that, I took a bus to go up the mountain at the transport station. I stayed at Baan Gub Gib in Huay Gub Gab (they were very kind, I didn't have a car to go to the bus stop, so they picked me up). Once there, I strolled around enjoying the views in the chilly weather. In the evening, I sat grilling pork on a hot pan, it was all so good. In the morning, I woke up at 4 am and went for a hike up the Triangle Cliff. The path was very steep, and I complained all the way, but the guide was very sweet and took good care of me during the hike. When we reached the top, the sky was closed, and I couldn't see the sunrise, but the view was great, and I had so much fun (the way back was faster than the way there). Back at the accommodation, I had breakfast, took a shower, and prepared to leave. The same guide (named Sandwich) drove me to the bus stop and even took me to a pine garden to take more photos. I was very impressed. When I got back, I went to wait for the train to continue my trip to Lamphun. I'll review the Lamphun trip and the festival of a thousand lanterns later.
