Raming Tea House, a cafe for tea lovers

#CafeReview Baan Cha Raming or Raming Tea House A cafe renovated from the Nimakorn family house, a green and white colonial-style teak building on Thapae Road, built in 1915 by Khun Anukornburi, a Thai-Chinese civil servant during the reign of King Rama VI. We have seen it since we were children. It is now managed by Cha Raming Co., Ltd., the third generation heir. Cha Raming is considered the pioneer of the first tea plantation industry in Thailand since 1937, using the brand name 'Baichao Tra Phukhao'. It started producing tea products in 1941 and changed its name to 'Cha Raming' in 1967 to be consistent with the tea plantation area on the headwaters of the Mae Ping River, which was originally called Mae Raming. We recommend the premium tea menu. Hot Cha Raming has an hourglass for 1-3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like it. Beautiful colored Thai tea with a mellow aroma. Tea snacks are Otan scones with berries and butter. The shop is very beautiful and classic. If anyone comes to visit Chiang Mai, I recommend it.
