Later, it was built as a temple with a viharn, a library, and a pavilion. The original name was Wat Li Chiang Phra. 🙇🙇🙇 Inside the Viharn Lai Kham, there is a Phra Singh or Phra Buddha Sihing enshrined. In 1943, Phraya Saen Mueang Ma ascended to the throne of Chiang Mai and invited it to be enshrined, so the name was changed to Wat Phra Singh.
