Doi Luang Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai Province “Doi Luang Chiang Dao” is the location of Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, Chiang Mai Province. It is 2,225 meters above sea level. It is a pure limestone mountain that is part of the Thanon Thongchai mountain range. There are 2 hiking routes, but we took the Pang Wua-Ang Slung route, a distance of about 6.5 kilometers. The path is quite steep at the beginning, plus the slippery path because of the rain, making hiking more difficult. But after passing the first part, it becomes easier. The sky is clear, with a 360-degree view. Take pictures until you forget how tired you are. When night falls, the cold weather sets in. The temperature that day was about -1 degrees. The roof of the tent was covered with dew. The peak of Doi Kiew Lom, the place where we were going to watch the sunrise, only saw a sea of fog, obscuring the view until only the white mountains were visible. Even though many things prevented us from getting beautiful pictures, the memories and friendships from this trip will remain beautiful forever. #TeamNortheast
