My first time hiking at Doi Luang Chiang Dao

🏔️ Doi Luang Chiang Dao is the second highest hiking trail in Thailand, at 2,275 m above sea level. 🌿 There are many protected wildlife and endemic plants. There is a chance to discover new plants. This is why it has been declared the 5th biosphere reserve in Thailand. 🌟 Know before going to Doi Luang • Doi Luang Chiang Dao is not for conquering, but for protecting. • Many animals have died from garbage. Whatever you bring up, you must bring back with you (There is a garbage deposit of 500 baht/person). • Do not pour liquids on the ground because it affects fragile plants. • Do not cook food with strong smells because it will cause animals to come down to find food in the campsite, risking hunting and extinction. • Use the toilet only with the toilet bags provided by the park. 🦌 What is there on the 8.5 km nature trail? • You will see all types of forests, except for mangrove forests. • The first 5 km are flat and hilly. Tired enough to pump up the body • After the checkpoint at the Pang Wua intersection to the tent site, it will be a long steep 3 km path, but the view is very beautiful. • Around 16.30, the officers will start walking up to the top. The distance is about 500 m, but it is steep and the heart rate is very high. • The way to the top must be climbed with ropes.
