Gangwon-do Cheorwon's famous place_Goseokjeong

Between the two sides of the 10-meter-tall rock formations in the middle of the Hantangang River, clear water flows like jade. Goseokjeong was named after a two-story pavilion of about 10 pyeong built in the middle of the Hantangang River during the reign of King Jinpyeong of Silla, and the valley around the rock is collectively called Goseokjeong. Goseokjeong, designated as a local monument, is said to have been a place where King Jinpyeong of Silla and King Chungsuk of Goryeo visited and played. The reason why Goseokjeong became even more famous was when it became known as the background of Im Kkeokjeong (林巨正, ?-1562) during the reign of King Myeongjong of the Joseon Dynasty.
