Highly recommended Cheongju restaurant!

These days, to give our father, who always grills meat for my daughters during trips, a break for the family month, we visited Cheongju's charcoal-grilled restaurant Cheonjiyeon. It was a seasoned charcoal-grilled rib place that captivated the taste buds of my sensitive father and my sister, who has a Michelin-star level of pickiness. We visited for lunch and had the pork charcoal grill set meal with rice in a hot pot, which came out so neatly with fresh and nutritious side dishes, and it was really delicious! Above all, the charcoal-grilled meat served by the servers themselves had the best aroma and flavor! The interior, with its clean Hanok (traditional Korean house) atmosphere, and some seats arranged as private rooms, seemed perfect for visiting during special occasions like anniversaries or first meetings. We had a satisfying meal with a big wrap of meat in fermented squid, scraped the rice pot clean, and poured hot water into it to finish with a perfect Korean dessert, Sungnyung.
