A place to nurture children and their minds: Cheongju National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

While looking for an indoor date spot during my trip to Cheongju, I visited the Cheongju National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The museum was really spacious and comfortable, there was a lot to see, and parking was convenient. Admission is free, and you can get tickets on site without a reservation. There are exhibition halls on the 1st to 5th floors, and the 6th floor is the rooftop. There are many works of art on the 1st floor, and there are videos with explanations and chairs where you can sit and watch. The 2nd floor has the Lee Kun-hee Collection, and the 3rd floor has an open storage. You can really appreciate the works from various perspectives. There are cafes and restaurants in the building next to the museum, and there is even a library on the 4th floor, so it would be a good place to spend a day with your kids.
