Upon arrival, the elegant tiled roof, spacious yard, and meticulously maintained garden instantly washed away the fatigue of travel. The unique tranquility and warm wooden scent of the hanok brought a sense of peace to the soul. The room we stayed in was a private unit, allowing us to enjoy an intimate time together. The interior was designed to preserve traditional aesthetics while ensuring modern comfort. The bedding was cozy, and the floor was heated with ondol, keeping it warm. A kitchen was also available, making it convenient for simple cooking, and the refrigerator was stocked with tea and snacks, showcasing thoughtful hospitality. The next morning, the breakfast prepared by the host was simple yet heartfelt. A warm bowl of seaweed soup, glossy rice, homemade kimchi, and seasoned vegetable side dishes were served, rivaling the satisfaction of hotel breakfasts. Above all, enjoying this meal while gazing at the serene yard was a truly healing experience.
