Xuangong Ancestral Hall in Beifu Village, Chenzhou, Hunan

This Qing Dynasty ancestral hall (Xuangong Hall) faces south with a northward orientation, featuring three bays and covering a construction area of 300 square meters. Built during the late Qing and early Republican period, it later served as a village primary school after liberation. The main structure and components remain largely well-preserved. The architecture showcases strong traditional characteristics: two rows with three spans, a central courtyard dividing upper and lower halls; brick-and-wood structure with horse-head gables, small blue tiles, combined single-eave golden character and convex character hard hilltops. The halls feature blue brick floors, blue stone eave columns and golden pillars; double-leaf doors with thick wooden frames and blue stone thresholds, round wooden door pins; the exterior side walls opposite the main gate are embedded with brick carvings of "Glory and Wealth" and "Fortune and Prosperity" alongside auspicious floral and mythical beast motifs, embodying the clan's aspirations for wealth and good fortune. A key cultural relic of Chenzhou City.
