Experience a different side of Chengdu at Zhengxi Hotel, Chunxi Taikoo Li—a must before turning 30

This time, I chose Zhengxi Hotel at Chunxi Taikoo Li for my trip to Chengdu, and the location is truly unbeatable! It’s right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk to Chunxi Road Metro Station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Right downstairs is the Taikoo Li shopping district, where you can shop at all kinds of big brands and trendy stores until your legs feel weak~ The main reason I chose this hotel was its design. The lobby has a strong artistic vibe, and the rooms are modern and minimalist. I booked a deluxe king room, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable—I didn’t want to get up once I lay down. The cleanliness was excellent, with thorough daily cleaning that left even the corners spotless. The soundproofing was also good, so I wasn’t disturbed by hallway noise at night. There are so many must-visit places nearby; here are my top three favorites: 1. Taikoo Li shopping district: a gathering place for luxury stores and trendy restaurants, with beautiful lights at night 2. IFS Giant Panda: a Chengdu landmark where you can take photos with the climbing panda sculpture 3. Jinli Ancient Street: a 15-minute taxi ride from the hotel, where you can experience the authentic local atmosphere of old Chengdu The hotel service is very thoughtful, with the front desk staff proactively recommending nearby food spots. The breakfast has a wide variety, and you must try the dan dan noodles and Zhong dumplings! The only minor downside is that prices are a bit high during peak season, but considering the location and experience, it’s still worth it. I’ll definitely choose this place again next time I come to Chengdu~
