Starting from Chengdu in Sichuan Province, the road crosses plateaus, gorges, snow-capped mountains, and grasslands, eventually reaching Lhasa in Tibet. Spanning approximately 2,140 kilometers, it is a highway renowned for its breathtaking scenery along the way.
