Shijing Temple, a Buddhist temple with a long history in western Sichuan.

There is a temple in Shijing Village, Chadian Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City - Shijing Temple. It was built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. The temple is a key cultural relic protection unit at the municipal level in Chengdu City. Shijing Temple is one of the five major Buddhist temples in western Sichuan. It consists of buildings such as the Main Hall, the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Three Saints, the Hall of Patriarchs, the Sutra Library, the Abbot's Courtyard, and the Screen Wall Gate. Among them, the "Buddha in the Flesh" of Master Chushan is enshrined in the Patriarch Hall. The most precious treasure of Shijing Temple is the "Chinese Tripitaka" donated by the Taiwanese monk Master Mingsan and his disciples, which is treasured in the Sutra Library. There are also two ancient ginkgo trees in the temple, which were planted during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and are now lush and green.
